The Wrong War College Essay is Not the Answer to Getting a Job
The Wrong War College Essay is Not the Answer to Getting a JobGetting a job without going to school is pretty much impossible. No matter what program you attend or what school you choose, your resume and cover letter have to be professional. If you're not smart enough to write it, no one else is. But there's more to writing an essay than making it look professional.I used to believe that a war college essay needed to be 100% original. Since they are a corporate-centric world, they don't care how hard you try to follow their format. As a result, getting through all of your schoolwork isn't an option because the only person who has the 'skill' to do it right is you. And that's not fair.Even though the war college essay can be time consuming, it's not something that has to be written and then tried to memorize in a week. There are ways to make it more engaging. One way to make a war college essay less time-consuming is to use a template. Yes, there are dozens out there that will allow yo u to do just that. They have different backgrounds, personalities, and views on the topics that will help you create a unique perspective for each section. Just write the essay from the perspective of someone with your same experience.A war college essay is also much more interesting if you focus on things you can relate to. Like the military. If you didn't know anything about the army before, you can find out by reading a couple books. Or if you have a lot of military friends, ask them about the training you experienced while serving. You might find that your experiences are similar. After you've figured out how you're going to structure your essay, keep it short. It can be a big task, if you write it in too long or too short. Take your time to figure out what should be said and don't let the idea overwhelm you. Most importantly, don't rush through it. It's not that time you have to impress anyone. It's just the easiest way to get a job.Your schoolwork will come in handy later when you're in the military. But don't wait to begin the process. Instead, continue to write essays throughout your military career. Make it personal by focusing on things you know and what you did during your service. It'll help you stay motivated throughout your military career.
